Job Description
- We are seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary Hindi Teacher to join our IGCSE team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Hindi language and literature to secondary school students, fostering an appreciation for the language and its cultural significance.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards for Hindi language and literature.
- Teach Hindi language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and oral communication, to secondary school students.
- Introduce students to a variety of Hindi literary texts, authors, and genres, and facilitate discussions to deepen understanding and critical analysis.
- Incorporate cultural elements and historical context into lessons to enhance students appreciation and understanding of Hindi language and literature.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth for all students.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Encourage student participation and active engagement in class activities, discussions, and cultural events related to Hindi language and literature.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary activities and projects that integrate Hindi language and culture with other subjects.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise related to Hindi language instruction.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in Hindi language education.
Requirements
Required Qualifications - Masters Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed.
Required Skills - - Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines, with a commitment to following the school's policies and procedures.
