Position Summary

AIMEE International School is dedicated to providing a culturally rich and comprehensive education. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hindi Language Teacher for elementary grades 6 to 8 to instil a love for the Hindi language and foster linguistic proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Implementation:
• Implement a dynamic and engaging Hindi language curriculum for elementary grades.
• Develop age-appropriate lessons that cover language proficiency, vocabulary, and cultural aspects.
• Integrate the four language skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) into lesson plans to enhance language proficiency.

• Instructional Delivery:
• Conduct interactive and stimulating Hindi language lessons, catering to diverse learning styles.
• Foster a love for reading and oral proficiency through storytelling, poetry, and conversation.

• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Design assessments that measure students language proficiency, comprehension, and writing skills.
• Provide constructive and personalised feedback to guide students in their Hindi language development.

• Cultural integration:
• Incorporate cultural elements into Hindi language lessons to enhance students understanding and appreciation of Hindi culture.
• Facilitate activities that connect language learning with cultural traditions and celebrations.

• Technology Integration:
• Utilise age-appropriate technology tools to enhance Hindi language instruction.
• Integrate digital resources and interactive platforms to make language learning engaging and effective.

• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and integrated curriculum across primary subjects.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Hindi, Education, or a related field. A teaching qualification is preferred.
• Proven experience in teaching Hindi at the elementary school level.
• Familiarity with language instruction methodologies suitable for young learners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Additional Expectations:

Interested candidates should ideally be willing to commit to a minimum of two years.
