About the Business Unit

The Languages business encompasses all non-English or Indic Brands within the Times Internet portfolio, featuring a presence in eight regional languages across India, including Navbharat Times in Hindi, Maharashtra Times in Marathi, Vijay Karnataka in Kannada, Samayam in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, and I am Gujarat.

Our Languages division stands as the fastest-growing regional content platform in India. We have an audience base of 180 million users, with approximately one in every four Indians engaging with Times Internet Languages Platforms. We are the leading news and information player in the Indic Languages category on Comscore. We have maintained this dominance for several years now.

About the Role:

We are looking for a confident and camera-friendly Anchor to join the NBT Tech-Ed team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in study abroad, immigration, work visas, global education, and international affairs. The role requires presenting complex policies, visa updates, and global developments in a simple, engaging, and credible manner for a Hindi-speaking audience.

Work Responsibilities:

• Research, script, and present videos on topics related to study abroad, work visas, immigration policies, PR and citizenship pathways, Green Card updates, OCI/NRI regulations, and global opportunities.
• Present daily and weekly explainers on international developments that impact Indian students, professionals, and families.
• Stay updated with immigration laws, embassy advisories, university admissions, scholarship announcements, and global job market trends.
• Collaborate with producers, writers, and editors to create high-quality, factually accurate video content.
• Conduct interviews with immigration experts, education consultants, students, and subject matter experts whenever required.
• Represent the NBT Tech-Ed brand confidently across YouTube, social media platforms, and live sessions.
• Ensure all content adheres to high editorial standards and is easy for viewers to understand.
• Contribute ideas for new content formats, series, and audience engagement initiatives.

Skills, Experience & Expertise:

• 3–5 years of experience as an Anchor, Video Journalist, or Digital Content Presenter.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Hindi, with strong presentation and storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of study abroad, immigration, international education, visas, global careers, or foreign affairs.
• Ability to simplify complex policies, legal updates, and government announcements into viewer-friendly content.
• Strong research and fact-checking skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in scriptwriting and presenting camera-facing digital content.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced digital newsroom and handling breaking updates.
• Familiarity with YouTube content formats and audience engagement strategies will be an added advantage.

Eligibility:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in digital media, television, or online video content.
• Prior experience covering education, immigration, foreign affairs, public policy, or international news will be preferred.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating anchoring and presentation skills is mandatory.
• Willingness to work from the Noida office and travel for interviews, events, or on-ground reporting as required.
