Design, configure, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments for automotive ECU validation.
Set up HIL systems, test benches, ECUs, I/O interfaces, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.
Develop and execute HIL test cases based on system, software, and functional requirements.
Configure and troubleshoot CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet communication interfaces.
Work with HIL platforms such as dSPACE, NI, Vector, or similar testing environments.
Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python, CAPL, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent tools.
Perform ECU integration, functional, regression, and fault-injection testing.
Analyze test results, identify failures, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Validate ECU behavior under normal, boundary, and fault conditions.
Create and maintain test specifications, test reports, logs, and defect documentation.
Collaborate with embedded software, hardware, systems, and calibration teams to resolve issues.
Support HIL bench commissioning, upgrades, debugging, and continuous improvement.
Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
Ensure testing activities comply with automotive quality and development processes such as ASPICE
