Hil Test Engineer

- 8+ years of experience in ECU HIL validation

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics / Instrumentation engineering

- should have good command on few body electronics functions. eg Wiper system, sunroof, door control, keyless go, locking system, exterior light, interior lights, seat control system etc (Any of these system)

- should be able to imagine different testing scenarios and write test cases after understanding the system requirements

- Should have the ability to lead and support the team members technically

- Should be able to take responsibilities for development activities such as Requirement Analysis, Test Spec Development, Test Script (PTTA preferably / CAPL / Python / C / C++ etc), Execution Defect identification

- Should be able to come with proposals for any problems faced and keep the management appraised of the status.

- Good experience in UDS based Diagnostic testing, DoIP

- Should be aware of QM / ASPICE process to a certain extent.

- Should have worked on dSPACE SCALAXIO Simulators

- Should know basic concepts of Object oriented programming

- Knowledge and experience with Provetech scripting language will be best fit but Python scripting language will also work

- Good understanding of ECU communication protocols like CAN,FR and Ethernet

- Good experience in bringing automation in testing projects

- should have Good analytical and problem solving skills

- Well-developed communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Outstanding personal initiative, sense of responsibility, commitment and perseverance

- Eager to learn and work with new technologies

What can be differentiating factors -

- Already experienced in leading a team technically.

- Good understanding of Software architecture concepts

- Good If he/she have worked on AUTOSAR concepts

- Understanding of Ethernet and OOPs concept

- Understanding of UI functioning

Your Job Role and Responsibilities -

- Should be able to lead the team technically

- Should be responsible for any all deliveries related to validation

- Should be able to able to identify risks and come up with proposals for mitigation of the same.

- Understand the new concepts of next generation EE architecture

- Understand the body electronics functions requirements related to multiple systems

- Develop test specifications, test scripts and test framework

- Test case execution on dSPACE HIL platform

- Debug, analyze failures and report to defect management systems

- Discuss with System developer about the observed system behavior for issue resolution

- Collaborate with other system testers to exchange ideas on improving quality of HIL testing

- Follow the approach to bring maximum Test automation from the beginning
