Conduct data research and analysis to assist with mapping data sources.
Ensure quality and integrity of data collected, analysis performed by queries to compare source data to target data.
Document data gaps with solutions while working with the delivery teams to ensure business needs are met.
Define/help design new business views as needed by the business and work with the delivery team.
Collaborates with Product Team and solution engineering experts to define, organize and manage data.
Drive innovation proactively, partner to identify and implement new ideas/technologies, which could substantially improve customer experience and/or create differentiation.
Act as a data expert for the Agile Scrum Team and the stakeholders.
Capture and validate summarized results for Technical Product Owner and team after data solutions are deployed to production by using various data tools such as Teradata, Python and SQL.
Participate in educational opportunities to expand on specific healthcare domains (i.e., Claim, Customer, and Client) with the end goal of becoming a Subject Matter Expert for their respective domains.

QUALIFICATIONS:
BS or BA degree in MIS, Business, Computer Science or equivalent work experience and training.
11-13 years of hands-on experience working with data mining, analysis, informatics data processing software and languages such as: Teradata Studio, Toad, Git, Alation, SQL.
Experience with SQL is required. Strong SQL is a big plus.
Familiarity with some or all the following: Python, SAS, Java/Scala, json, Bash Scripting, PL/SQL, Transact SQL, AWS, Collibra DIC, erwin Data Modeler, Teradata Vantage, Databricks.
Ability to review and analyze code to help decode or research data issues using technologies such as SQL, Python etc.
Experience in Data Profiling, Data Mapping, Data Validation, and Data Warehouse.
Detail oriented with proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Demonstrated experience in data informatics & data exchange, particularly using healthcare and clinical data such as: Claim, Membership, Client Structure, Benefits, and Utilization Management/Case Management etc.
Cigna experience is a plus, preferably focused on experience with CCW or data warehousing.
Experience applying a consultative and collaborative approach.
Previous SAFE and Agile experience strongly preferred.
Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated experience working independently with limited direction/guidance.
Defining and documenting data requirements.
Experience with Data Governance, Data Modeling is a plus.
