Position Summary

The Business Product Governance Senior Analyst is responsible for the governance processes associated with business tools utilized by the Finance and Accounting organizations. Responsibilities include managing security, user support, data reconciliation, issue resolution, and collaboration with technical partners to ensure tool availability and performance in accordance with SLAs. Where needed, project support in the form of testing, requirement gathering and training in response to tool upgrades or enhancements. This individual will work with users, technology partners, other project team members, and workstream teams.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The Business Product Governance Senior Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage security and access for Oracle Hyperion tools by reviewing access requests and submitting appropriate tickets
  • Provide user support including monitoring the group mailbox and triaging requests
  • Maintain documentation, including updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Develop training documentation to provide basic information to users for recurring requests
  • Complete reconciliations of data between tools and systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and IT developers on enhancement requests. Support development process through coordination of business requirements, testing, implementation and change management.
  • Manage data mappings from upstream sources
  • Management of documentation on SharePoint and other project tools
  • Assist change and workstream leads to ensure training, end user support coverage is without gaps; support may involve content creation and user support triage
  • Actively seek opportunities for improvement through process changes or identification of system enhancements.
  • Create communication materials for extended stakeholder teams
  • Other special projects as assigned

Experience Required

Qualified candidates will typically have 3 - 5 years of production system support experience, including customer service and user interfacing positions. Successful candidates will be high energy, self-starters with a focus on quality output and project delivery success. Successful candidates will have experience in Oracle technologies inclusive of the EPM suite of tools. Specific experience in planning and projection tools, allocations, consolidation and balance sheet reconciliation would be valuable. Experience with Smartview and Function builder features required.

Experience Desired

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management information systems or a related field preferred
  • Desired Tool Experience & Project Practices: Oracle Hyperion suite, Microsoft Excel, Agile, Jira, Saviynt, Aveska, Sharepoint, and Confluence
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and delivering complex projects/initiatives within agreed upon parameters while achieving the benefits and/or value-added results.
