High Performance Director - Artistic Gymnastics

Leap Gymnastics is looking for a High Performance Director - Artistic gymnastics to join their team in Mumbai/ Delhi.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The High-Performance Director (HPD) will serve as the strategic and technical leader for India's Artistic Gymnastics programme (MAG & WAG). The role is responsible for building a world-class, Olympic-focused high-performance system, driving athlete development, coaching excellence, and international competitiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute a long-term High-Performance Plan aligned to Olympic cycles (up to 2036)

- Lead and mentor national coaching teams and provide technical direction

- Oversee athlete selection frameworks, national camps, and performance benchmarks

- Build Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) pathways

- Integrate sports science (S&C, physio, nutrition, psychology, biomechanics)

- Drive talent identification and national pathways

- Monitor athlete performance, load management, and injury prevention

- Collaborate with stakeholders including federation leadership and sports authorities

- Provide data-driven performance reports and insights

- Ensure safe sport practices, ethics, and anti-doping compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

- FIG Level-3 or equivalent certification in Artistic Gymnastics

- 10+ years of experience in high-performance coaching or leadership

- Proven experience with elite/international athletes

- Strong knowledge of modern training methodologies and analytics

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience in Olympic or world-level programmes

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management

- Ability to build systems in developing sporting environments

- Strong communication and digital proficiency
