About The Role
Support Logistics functions such as transfer of FG from production area to FG store, arrangement of FG/RM/PM using pallet truck, Stacker and Forklift , FG pick-up for dispatches at Loading point, record of NART wise/batchwise dispatches in Register, Local/Export Label printing on System & pasting on shippers, & assisting warehouse functions such as taking deliveries of Incoming RM/PM, issue of RM/PM to production dept. Periodical physical counting of RM/PM/FG stock. All the above work should be maintained with Safety rules & Standard Operating Procedures of the company.
What You Will Do
- Work within EOGL safety standards with a responsibility for others too
- Weighing/counting of Stock, Transfer of stock with Pallet trucks
- Movement of stock from RM /PM to Production Area, stacking the goods on pallets
- Labelling, loose packing, stretch film wrapping, Palletization
- Movement of FG Stock from Production to FG Stores. Taking receipts of Incoming Goods as per documents/challans/Invoices
- Sorting of good during receipts of Mixed/damaged Consignment
- Have to work in logistics Area (both in Distribution and Stores)
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Handling dispatches of FG Stock. Need to Coordinate with all Dept for Logistics Work.
- Checking of FG Goods as per production transfer note, SAP Stock list and need to store in allocated area.
- Need to do Dispensing, issues and Daily check of Solvents.
- On receipts of Unloading /Loading vehicles, Tankers, have to coordinate with Logistics in charge/ Officer /Security /QC
- On receipt of Export Container for Loading, have to see that with coordination with Security dept
- Loading/Unloading of Goods as per documents
- Arranging of goods in all warehouses/FG Area as and when required.
- Need to operate Forklift /Stacker operations in all Warehouses/Logistics/FG Area as and when required.
- Numbering & paste of Labels on Local/export shippers as per requirement after approval from QC/Production.
- Also need to see transfer of goods to any location and also within plant with available vehicles & loaders/unloaders.
- Need to see transfer of goods to any location outside plant with available vehicles and Loaders/unloaders.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Stock checking as per Reports.
- Regularly check of Stock in storage tanks and also need to take delivery of Tankers in all locations as and when required.
- Every receipt and also for outward, have to check the stock and need to sign/Acknowledge on Security sheet
- Any other Job responsibilities assigned /amended from time to time.
- Need to check the Floor Tarpaulin, hood Tarpaulin & Water leakages of the vehicle before loading.
- Knowledge of the SOP's related to Logistics functions.
- Knowledge of SOP's related to stacker /Forklifts operations.
- Cleaning of Forklift /Stackers and any other equipment's in logistics Area.
- Roll Model for Safety, Participate in Safety Program like BOS, Safety etc.
Who You Are
- High School + ITI mechanical/electrical
- 2+ years of experience in Logistics Operations in manufacturing unit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in internal settings.
- Requires ability to take initiative to solve problems.
- Ready to work in shift operations
