Role DescriptionHEAVY LIFT & CRANE SPECIALIST

Experience: 12+ years

Role Purpose

Develop and supervise the heavy lifting strategy for stone block handling and monument erection.

Key Responsibilities

● Determine crane capacities.

● Prepare lifting studies.

● Develop lift plans.

● Determine rigging arrangements.

● Review lifting points.

● Plan crane locations.

● Coordinate access and working platforms.

● Conduct trial lifts.

● Supervise critical lifts.

● Coordinate crane operators and riggers.

● Develop heavy-lift method statements.

● Coordinate safety requirements.

Qualification

Degree: Mechanical/Civil Engineering preferred.

Essential Experience

Heavy lifting, large cranes, complex structures and large stone/industrial

components.

KPIs

● Safe lifting operations.

● Zero lifting incidents.

● Crane utilisation.

● Successful critical lifts.

● Compliance with approved lift plans.
