Job Description:
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, dump trucks, rollers, and trailer trucks.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and carry out effective rectification.
- Conduct preventive maintenance as per manufacturer standards and site requirements.
- Overhaul engines, transmissions, and gear systems when required.
- Ensure all repairs are completed within scheduled timelines to minimize downtime.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with workshop supervisors and report technical issues accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related trade preferred.
- Minimum 35 years relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- Experience in HEMM equipment is mandatory.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow maintenance procedures.
- Basic knowledge of English is required.
- Indian experience accepted.
