Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandrapur for a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Truck Driver. The role involves the safe and timely transportation of goods using heavy commercial vehicles. Daily responsibilities include adhering to delivery schedules, unloading goods, ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate delivery records. The candidate is expected to carry out vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- A valid CDL Class A license and proven truck driving experience
- Proficiency in operating and handling heavy commercial vehicles
- Understanding and adherence to DOT regulations
- Experience with loading and unloading goods
- Good communication skills and ability to maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Strong attention to safety and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Ability to work on-site in Chandrapur
- Physical fitness and endurance to manage the demands of long-distance driving
