Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in industrial and commercial environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, checking and repairing electrical and plumbing connections related to HVAC equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The technician will document work performed, maintain service records, coordinate with supervisors and other technical teams, and provide clear updates on equipment status. The role also includes adherence to IEPCC's quality and HSE procedures while supporting continuous improvement in system performance and reliability.
Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in troubleshooting HVAC systems and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing work related to HVAC installations and system connections.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance practices for heating and air conditioning equipment, including scheduled inspections and servicing.
• Working knowledge of electricity and electrical safety as applied to HVAC systems and controls.
• Familiarity with EPA or equivalent environmental and refrigeration handling regulations and standards.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to HSE guidelines in industrial environments.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in industrial or commercial HVAC environments is an advantage.
