Job Description

Healthcare Systems Implementation Project Manager (USI – Data & Analytics Focus)

RSM's National Healthcare Consulting practice is seeking a Healthcare Systems Implementation Project Manager to support delivery of complex healthcare IT and data & analytics engagements, with a focus on Microsoft Fabric and modern data platform implementations for provider organizations and related entities.

This role is responsible for supporting and managing key phases of the implementation lifecycle, including requirements definition, solution design coordination, testing, training, and deployment support across both system implementations and analytics-driven engagements.

As a member of RSM's National Healthcare Consulting practice, you will collaborate with experienced professionals across healthcare technology, revenue cycle transformation, clinical systems integration, and data & analytics strategy.

This role is ideal for a delivery-oriented project manager who can operate in a global delivery model (USI), partnering closely with U.S.-based teams and clients to drive high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Support and lead mid-to-large-scale healthcare technology and data analytics engagements
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource forecasts across distributed teams
  • Monitor and report on project status, risks, issues, and financial performance
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget changes through established governance and change control processes
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; proactively escalate issues as needed
  • Drive accountability across global delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes
  • Support pre-sales and pipeline activities, including proposal development and pipeline tracking

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Partner with U.S.-based engagement leaders and client stakeholders to support successful delivery
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including consultants, client resources, and third-party vendors
  • Facilitate clear communication across onshore and offshore teams
  • Support stakeholder alignment and ensure timely decision-making
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment

Healthcare Technology & Data & Analytics

  • Apply knowledge of healthcare provider operations, including revenue cycle, clinical workflows, and financial performance drivers
  • Support delivery of Microsoft Fabric and data analytics solutions, including reporting and performance measurement capabilities
  • Assist in integrating clinical and revenue cycle systems within broader data and analytics platforms
  • Coordinate technical, operational, and training workstreams to support user adoption and solution effectiveness
  • Partner with engagement teams to solve complex business, operational, and data integration challenges
  • Enable data-driven decision-making through alignment with analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting or delivering healthcare systems implementations and/or data analytics engagements
  • Experience working in a global delivery or offshore/onshore model
  • Strong project coordination and delivery management skills
  • Prior consulting experience preferred

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics tools, reporting, and performance measurement in healthcare environments
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Power BI)
  • Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and supporting technologies
  • Familiarity with payer contracts, reimbursement models, and financial performance drivers
  • Experience supporting clinical operations workflows and systems
  • Exposure to AI applications within healthcare, particularly in analytics or revenue cycle optimization
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
