Position Details
Role: HSSE / EHS Officer
Contract Duration: 12 months (On-site)
Location: Bidadi, Bengaluru

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Ensure contractors compliance with all statutory requirements, including Construction Safety, Environmental regulations, Health standards, and applicable bye-laws.
  • Implement, refer, and monitor work execution as per the Client Safety Manual.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Client Safety Rules, including Work Permit verification and control.
  • Conduct Daily Morning Tool Box Talks (KYE/KY) and regular Safety Observations, including 4S audits, with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Review Contractor Method Statements / MSRA against actual site conditions, identify gaps, and ensure effective mitigation measures.
  • Educate contractors on risk identification and hazard controlbefore activity start, during execution, and until completion.
  • Conduct regular safety trainings and awareness sessions for contractor teams.
  • Ensure timely submission of Daily, Weekly, and Monthly EHS reports to client and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma / BE in Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 57 years of experience in construction, industrial, or facility safety roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of:Work at Height, Hot Work, Fire & Electrical Safety, MSRA / JSA, SOPs, Safety Checklists, Audit reporting, KPI monitoring, and contractor management
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Important Note
This is a contract position for an initial period of 12 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on project expansion and individual performance.
