Job Description

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or an equivalent recognized HSE certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of HSE experience on construction, interior fit-out, MEP
  • Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, local authority requirements, and site safety procedures.
  • Valid First Aid and Fire Warden/Firefighting certification.
  • Ability to prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments, permits to work, and emergency-response plans.
  • Experience conducting site safety inspections, toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training.
  • Knowledge of work-at-height safety, scaffolding, hot works, electrical safety, lifting operations, confined spaces, and proper PPE requirements.
  • Ability to identify unsafe acts and conditions and immediately implement corrective action.
  • Experience maintaining HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, training records, and daily safety documentation.
  • Capable of investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses and preparing corrective and preventive action reports.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, or Malayalam would be an advantage.
  • Physically fit and capable of regularly monitoring all active work areas.
  • Must have the authority and confidence to stop any unsafe work until suitable control measures are implemented.
