Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HSE Engineer to manage and implement Health, Safety & Environment systems for airport infrastructure projects in Bengaluru. The role ensures compliance with statutory safety norms, client requirements, and project HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the HSE Management Plan at site.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, client HSE standards, and project requirements.
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
- Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments (HIRA/JSA), and implement control measures.
- Ensure safe work practices for civil, MEP, airside & landside activities.
- Monitor use of PPE, work permits, and safe access systems.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with Client, PMC, and Consultants for HSE inspections and approvals.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records.
- Conduct safety training and awareness programs for site staff and contractors.
- Ensure environmental compliance including waste management, dust control, noise control, and pollution norms.
Mandatory Requirements
- 6+ years of HSE experience in airport projects (terminal buildings, airside/landside works, infrastructure).
- Strong knowledge of Indian safety regulations, airport safety protocols, and environmental norms.
- Experience dealing with Client / PMC / Consultant safety audits.
- Hands-on experience in incident reporting and corrective actions.
Preferred Certifications
- ADIS / PDIS
- NEBOSH / IOSH
- Diploma in Industrial Safety
- ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 exposure
Software Skills
Preferred Profile
- Experience in large infrastructure / aviation projects
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to enforce safety culture at site
