Job Description

Health Policy & Management — AI Content Specialist

About The Role

Millions of people will rely on AI for health information. Your expertise can make sure they get it right.

Alignerr partners with the world's leading AI research labs to build and train cutting-edge models. We're looking for public health professionals with graduate-level training to help shape how AI understands population health, epidemiology, and health policy — ensuring it reflects scientific consensus, equity principles, and ethical standards.

This is a high-impact, fully remote contract role that lets you apply your MPH in a brand-new way, on a schedule that works for you.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create advanced challenges involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, clinical trial interpretation, and policy analysis to rigorously test AI reasoning.
  • Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and current guidelines from bodies like the CDC and WHO.
  • Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, logical consistency, and adherence to ethical standards. Identify misinformation and reasoning gaps.
  • Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured, expert feedback to help models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate health risks clearly, and serve diverse populations equitably.

Required

Who You Are

  • Master's degree in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or a closely related graduate-level field
  • Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
  • Ability to translate complex health data into clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive written content
  • High attention to detail — especially when reviewing statistical significance, data citations, and the logic of health interventions
  • No prior AI experience needed — we'll onboard you

Nice To Have

  • Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
  • Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health surveillance

Why Join Us

  • Meaningful impact — your expertise directly shapes how AI handles real-world health information used by millions
  • Fully remote and flexible — work from anywhere, on a schedule that fits your life
  • Engage with frontier AI — work directly with industry-leading large language models
  • Contractor autonomy — high agency, global reach, and the freedom to manage your own workload
  • Ongoing opportunity — strong contributors are considered for continued and expanded contracts
