About The Team In Sweden
In sweden we currently have 4 Construction work environment coordinators. We work with a wide scope of assignments ranging from the planning-stage to execution of drawings for final production, primarily with road and railroad projects.
1 januari 2025 the Swedish work environment authority made big changes to the legislations regarding planning and design which puts higher standard on us regarding visualising risks and producing model or drawing based verifications that the design is buildable.
Job Description
Your role, your entry point at AFRY
As a member of the Construction Work Environment team at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in that will make a real impact. Through the Design Center you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals in Sweden, use cutting-edge technology, and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions for our clients. It is important that you are a team player that like to work in teams with different competences and that you are curious and eager to learn new things
Your key responsibilities
- Produce basis for APD-plans (Construction site layouts)
- Produce basis for TA-plan ( Traffic arrangement plan)
- Help make clash controls in models regarding to work environment legislations
- Produce drawings showing construction machines and work steps in models to make sure there is enough space to build.
- Produce cross sections to verify buildability
Qualifications
We expect that you have
- A Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering with a focus on public spaces. Water and drainage or road design and familiar with design programs used for this type of design
- Working knowledge of Autocad / Civil 3D / Revit
- Good written and verbal English language (CEFR minimum level B1)
- A good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office
- Very good communication skills.
We appreciate if you have
- Experience of working abroad, especially projects in the Nordics
- Interest in construction and health and safety
- Experience of making illustrations in Bluebeam Revu or similar applications
- Experience of visual planning of construction sites
- Experience of producing APD-plans or TA-plans in Swedish projects
