Job Description

Role Description:

The candidate will be responsible for Testing lab and Validation operations. This

position is to manage the Validation Engineering group within the Engineering Department to maintain highly reliable and compliant processes for products like Cells, Battery packs, Charging and swap system, lab equipment and automation systems.

Ideal Experience: Minimum 15-25 years working, leadership experience on Verification & Validation in a product development & manufacturing organization with BE / ME / Masters in Automobile, E&C, E&E engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Accountable, responsible for V&V across all the products/projects/enhancements/bug fixes.

• Verification & Validation effectiveness, efficiency & timeline.

• V&V Strategy, Design, Planning, Execution & Automation

• Be a V&V reference across the entire development chain.

• Develop & deploy cross-product V&V state of the art setup.

• Approval of all cross functional & cross domain products/technical deliverables.

• Define & deploy development tools across functions/domains for bidirectional traceability.

• Define, deploy GenAI, AI/ML initiatives for tangible outcomes, automation & productivity improvement.

• Product certification & regulation.

• Functional Safety V&V, certifications.

• Security requirements V&V, certifications.

• V&V program management.

• V&V team development, management.

• Primary interface to all internal & external stakeholders for V&V.

• Excellent leadership skills with a proactive approach.

• Expert in cross functional & cross domain automotive product vehicle validation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Understanding of applicable mathematics and scientific practices.

• Understanding of related equipment and the ability to perform equipment modifications.

• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems, then propose solutions or recommendations

providing the best solution as quickly as possible to complex problems.

• Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment along with strong attention to detail.

• Must have experience with Microsoft office tools such as Excel, word, power point, email.

• Good teamwork & team handling abilities.

• Passion for electric vehicles, new technology, and making a difference.
