Role Purpose
The Head - Training Delivery - Aerospace & Defense will spearhead the design, development, and delivery of advanced technical training programs tailored to the Aerospace & Defense sector. This role is pivotal in aligning the Adani Skills & Education Foundation's mission of Growth with Goodness with the strategic goal of empowering individuals through skill development. By leveraging cutting-edge methodologies and technologies, the role ensures the creation of a skilled workforce that contributes to national progress and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies for the Aerospace & Defense sector, ensuring alignment with industry standards and emerging technologies.
- Lead the design and delivery of technical training programs, incorporating simulation-based learning, AR/VR tools, and other advanced methodologies.
- Collaborate with industry experts, defense organizations, and academic institutions to ensure training content is relevant and future-ready.
- Establish and manage state-of-the-art training facilities equipped with the latest tools and technologies specific to Aerospace & Defense.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through measurable outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement in program delivery.
- Build and lead a team of technical trainers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Drive partnerships with government bodies and private sector entities to expand the reach and impact of training initiatives.
- Align training programs with the Adani Group's commitment to nation-building and sustainable development.
- Ensure seamless integration of training delivery with the broader objectives of the Adani Skills & Education Foundation.
- Stay abreast of global trends in Aerospace & Defense training and incorporate best practices into program design.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience of 10-15 years in technical training delivery, with a focus on Aerospace & Defense.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing large-scale training programs.
- Strong track record of collaboration with industry stakeholders and academic institutions.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Defense Studies, or a related field.
- Certifications in instructional design, training methodologies, or related areas are preferred.
Years & Type of Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in technical training delivery, specifically within the Aerospace & Defense sector.
- Experience in managing training teams and facilities at a senior leadership level.
Domain Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of Aerospace & Defense technologies, systems, and operational requirements.
- Expertise in simulation-based training, AR/VR tools, and other advanced training methodologies.
- Familiarity with global standards and best practices in technical training for Aerospace & Defense.
Digital & Operational Tools
- Proficiency in using AR/VR platforms for training delivery.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
