Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Business Growth: Lead the techno-commercial strategy for the RMRW business vertical, aligning with Adani's vision and growth plans. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the infrastructure portfolio.
- Project Management Excellence: Oversee large-scale infrastructure projects ensuring technical feasibility, cost optimization, timely execution, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Drive value engineering initiatives to enhance project profitability and efficiency.
- Financial & Commercial Management: Manage project budgets, cost control measures, and commercial negotiations. Lead contract review and management including tenders, bids, agreements, and claims, ensuring risk mitigation and maximizing commercial benefits.
- Technical Oversight: Provide expert technical guidance on design, procurement, construction methodologies, and technological innovations. Ensure all engineering outputs meet statutory regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with finance, legal, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution and commercial compliance. Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing techno-commercial team. Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, integrity, and safety aligned with Adani's values.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Identify potential risks in commercial contracts and project execution; implement proactive mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, corporate governance policies, and ethical standards.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present detailed techno-commercial reports, project status updates, and strategic reviews to senior management and stakeholders. Facilitate transparent communication channels within the team and across departments.
- Technology & Innovation: Champion adoption of cutting-edge technologies, digital tools, and sustainable construction practices that align with Adani's commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline from a reputed institute. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience
20 years of extensive experience in the Infrastructure industry, demonstrating progressive leadership roles encompassing techno-commercial management, project execution, contract management, and business development.
