Position Overview
The
Supply Chain Lead will drive end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations—spanning sourcing, procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, and distribution—to ensure seamless material availability, cost optimization, and compliance. Operating under a build and transform mandate, the role focuses on supplier localization, working-capital efficiency, digitalization, and team leadership, while partnering cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Sourcing: Lead end-to-end supply chain execution, demand planning, strategic sourcing, and localization to optimize costs and ensure material availability.
- Operations & Logistics: Manage warehousing, distribution, 3PL, and trade logistics while implementing robust risk and business continuity frameworks.
- Systems & Governance: Drive ERP capabilities, process standardization, compliance, and value engineering to streamline operations and working capital.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing supply chain organization focused on accountability and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's in Engineering (BE) and/or MBA in Supply Chain or Materials Management.
- Experience: 15–20 years in end-to-end supply chain leadership within manufacturing, covering strategic sourcing, vendor development, inventory planning, logistics, EXIM, and SAP/ERP systems.
- Leadership & Skills: Proven track record in transformation, strategic thinking, cross-functional stakeholder management, and building high-performing teams.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Tamil.
