As part of our next phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced business leader to establish and scale our Institutional Partnerships and B2B Business Vertical.
Role Overview
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for creating new revenue streams through partnerships with corporates, educational institutions, government organizations, embassies, cultural centres, and study-abroad partners.
The successful candidate will build and lead the entire B2B growth function, helping position The Language SKOOL as the preferred language training partner for institutions across India.
This role reports directly to the CEO/Marketing Head and will play a critical role in achieving the company's long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the B2B Growth Strategy
• Build and execute a national strategy for institutional business growth.
• Identify new markets, industries, and partnership opportunities.
• Create sustainable revenue channels beyond individual student enrolments.
• Develop annual and quarterly business development plans.
Corporate Business Development
Develop partnerships with:
• IT & ITES Companies
• Manufacturing Companies
• Automotive Companies
• Healthcare Organisations
• Hospitality & Tourism Companies
• Export & Import Businesses
• Multinational Corporations
• Start-ups and GCCs
Promote:
• Corporate Language Training
• Business Communication Programmes-Foreign Language
• Cross-Cultural Communication
• Customized Corporate Learning Solutions
Educational Institution Partnerships
Establish partnerships with:
• Schools
• Colleges
• Universities
• Engineering Institutions
• Management Institutes
• Skill Development Centres
• Coaching Institutes
Offer Language upskilling programmes for:
• Foreign Language Education
• Employability Enhancement
• Placement Readiness
• International Career Preparation
• Faculty Development

Study Abroad Ecosystem
Develop strategic alliances with:

Key Deliverables
Within the first 12 months, the successful candidate will be expected to:
• Establish the Institutional Business vertical.
• Sign strategic partnerships with leading schools, colleges, corporates, and consultants.
• Build a strong nationwide partnership pipeline.
• Launch corporate language training programmes.
• Increase institutional enrolments.
• Create recurring revenue opportunities through long-term partnerships.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
• 15+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Institutional Sales, Corporate Sales, or Enterprise Sales.
• Ready to travel to nurture business connections
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in Education, EdTech, Corporate Learning, Training, Consulting, or Professional Services preferred.
Skills

• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strategic planning and execution.
• Relationship management with CXOs and decision-makers.
• Commercial acumen with a focus on revenue growth.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can think beyond traditional sales and build long-term strategic partnerships that create sustainable business growth.
The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable presenting to a university, negotiating with a corporate HR Head, partnering with an embassy, or building relationships with study-abroad consultants.
