Roles & Responsibilities:

Safety:

• Safety aspect compliance with respect to Health, safety and environment
• VSAP and Vedanta safety standards implementation in Department

Availability:

• Plant availability as per BP

Compliance

• Follow up of Housekeeping and 5S compliance in department
• AO practices compliance

Coordination:

• Coordination with other departments regarding demand / supply issues and compliance to agreed SLA
• Communication to down the line regarding company policies updatation from time to time.

Managing parameters:

• Inventory Management
• Risk Management

Performance:

• Conducting performance review meetings

Asset Optimization:

• To drive Asset Optimization modules such as Work Management (WM), Condition Based Monitoring (CBM), Operate for reliability (O4R), Defect Elimination (DE), Process Optimization (PO), Critical Asset Management & Tactics Development, Leadership & Strategy Modules.

Capex requirements:

• Approval and execution of Capex as per requirement of department.

Desired Skills:

• BE/B Tech (Ceramic).
• 10 - 12 Years in Smelter / Carbon Plant / Process Industry.
