  • BDes/MDes or BTech from a tier 1 institute | Strong understanding of SolidWorks

Job Description

  • Drive research and development efforts to create innovative household products in the lighting industry
  • Oversee the engineering and manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align R&D projects with business objectives
  • Lead the design and testing of new products to meet market demands
  • Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all R&D operations
  • Manage and mentor the R&D team to achieve organisational goals
  • Prepare and present reports on R&D progress to stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

A successful R&D Head should have:

  • A strong educational background in engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of SolidWorks
  • Proven expertise in the lighting industry, particularly in household products
  • Experience in leading R&D projects and teams effectively
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and innovations in engineering and manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
  • Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
