Job Responsibilities
- Support Site Head in preparation of BU Strategic Planning
- Budgeting and control for optimum utilisation of resources
- Business Continuity Risk Assessment and develop strategies to minimise risk
- Staffing, training and directing of manpower for the assigned activities
- Ensure Statutory Compliance
- Coordination with Regulatory / HSSE / Statutory / Global / Financial teams towards Audit compliance
- Support team in driving OE initiatives
- Drive Change Management
- Adhering to SOP (Product and Process)
- Participate in Sales and Operational Planning process for supply planning
- New Product Commercial Production Technology absorption from NPD
- Production planning, Capacity Planning, Material Requirement Planning & Manpower planning
- Planning and allocation of resources
- Keep a track of machine downtime and escalation for breakdown maintenance
- Planning and scheduling of production based on demand planning
- Reporting and monitoring performance of production activities through KPI tracking
- Maintaining cGxP across the production process area
- Support and implement FSMS initiatives along with Quality Department
- Maintaining SHE across the production process area
- Data Entry of production ERP transactional data on a real time basis
Requirements
- Master's degree (preferably in Operations)
- 15 – 20 years of experience in PPC (Production Planning & Control) within Manufacturing / FMCG / Food / Process industries
- Strong expertise in Production Planning, MRP (Material Requirement Planning), Inventory Control, Capacity Planning, Manpower Planning & Supply Chain Coordination
- Hands-on experience in ERP and data-driven planning processes
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma & Operational Excellence practices; certification preferred
- Knowledge of cGxP, FSMS, SHE and statutory compliance requirements
- Experience in audits, SOP implementation, KPI tracking and resource optimization
- Strong leadership, analytical, team management and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
