Job Description

  • Develop and execute innovative procurement strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, driving continuous improvement and digital transformation
  • Lead the implementation of best-in-class procurement practices, processes, and technologies to enhance efficiency, visibility, and control over the company's diverse spend categories
  • Collaborate effectively with the C-suite, functional leaders, and external partners to align procurement initiatives with the organization's strategic priorities and drive cross-functional synergies.
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive procurement excellence strategy, aligning with the company's overall business goals and driving measurable improvements in cost, quality, and service delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the procurement team, providing mentorship and development opportunities to build a future-ready workforce.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain challenges.Develop and implement robust performance management frameworks to track and report on the procurement function's key metrics, driving continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices and sustainability goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head - Procurement Excellence should have:

  • 25 years of progressive experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Operations, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple procurement functions or a Procurement Excellence/Transformation office.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale, complex change management and digital transformation projects within a Procurement organization.
  • Deep understanding of procurement best practices across diverse spend categories (MRO, Services, Direct/Indirect Materials).
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
