Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Operations for MP CERT to lead cybersecurity operations, incident management, and cyber forensics functions. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on expertise in handling complex cyber incidents and ensuring robust security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the CERT operations team for cybersecurity incident response and management.
- Oversee end-to-end cyber incident handling, investigation, and resolution.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and frameworks.
- Ensure effective cyber forensics practices and support in investigations.
- Handle ransomware incidents, recovery processes, and post-incident analysis.
- Conduct risk assessments and strengthen organizational security posture.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for security compliance and incident response.
- Monitor emerging threats and ensure proactive defense mechanisms.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review.
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering Graduate in any discipline
- AND
- Postgraduate in Forensics (preferably Cyber Forensics)
Mandatory Certifications:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- OR
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
Additional Certifications (Any one or more preferred):
- CRISC
- GCIH
- GCIA
- CEH
- CSIH
- CIPP
- CompTIA Security+
- OSCP
- Certified SOC Analyst
- Equivalent recognized certifications
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in leading teams in cybersecurity operations.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end Cyber Security Incident Management & Forensics.
- Strong experience in incident investigations, cyber forensics, and ransomware recovery.
- Experience in developing cybersecurity strategies, policies, and implementation plans.
