The Opportunity:

An exceptional career opportunity for innovative, committed, and forward-looking individual to create transformational value in Nickel Business.

  • As the Head Operations Nickel Business, you will lead end-to-end plant operations to ensure safe, stable, costefficient, and high-quality production. You will oversee all critical processesNickel Leaching, Solvent Extraction (SX), Cellhouse, Crystal House and Nickel Sulphate productionwhile driving improvements in recovery, throughput, purity, and operational efficiency.
  • You will be accountable for achieving daily and monthly production targets, reducing operational costs, and optimizing resource and energy use. This includes driving debottlenecking initiatives, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance, and accelerating digital transformation through automation, real-time monitoring, and predictive analytics.
  • A strong focus on process safety, Zero Harm culture, and full regulatory and environmental compliance is essential. You will build and develop high-performing technical and operational teams to support business goals.
  • You will also ensure optimized Cellhouse performance for high-purity nickel deposition and deliver Nickel Sulphate crystals as per Business Plan (BP) targets with reliable utility and asset availability. Additionally, you will identify and execute forward and backward integration opportunities within the Nickel supply chain to strengthen profitability and longterm competitiveness.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgy, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in nickel manufacturing or related industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of nickel manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations, delivering results, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
