Job Description

We are seeking a Head Operations for the Luxury Marble Industry to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the sales vertical. Reporting directly to the Founder, you will be accountable for the overall profitability (P&L) of the sales vertical, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the sales team. This strategic leadership role requires strong operational management experience, a deep understanding of the luxury market, and the ability to drive performance in a high-end sales environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Sales Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the sales team, ensuring efficient processes, adherence to sales strategies, and achievement of revenue targets. Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to optimize the sales function. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and logistics, to support sales initiatives and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • P&L Accountability: Own the Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for the sales vertical, ensuring revenue growth and profitability. Monitor and manage the sales budget, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with company goals. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and product exclusivity. Responsible for achieving sales targets consistently along with guiding and ensuring the team also achieves their individual targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ensure the sales team delivers exceptional customer service that reflects the company's brand image. Oversee key client relationships, including high-net-worth individuals, interior designers, and architects, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Manage and nurture relationships with strategic partners. Ensure the highest standards of customer experience are met throughout the sales process. Maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business. Represent the company at luxury industry events and maintain a visible presence in the premium home dcor community.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to the Founder on sales performance, operational challenges, and strategic initiatives. Prepare and present detailed financial and operational reports, including revenue forecasts, sales trends, and P&L analysis. Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization to support the sales team's goals and objectives.
  • Team Management and Development: Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, creating a culture of excellence and accountability. Oversee the training and development of the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills to sell luxury products and deliver exceptional client service. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, logistics) to ensure alignment with sales goals.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience as a Sales Head or in a senior executive role within the luxury home dcor or related industry.
  • Proven experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, P&L, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage high-end client relationships.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales analytics, and other relevant tools to track performance.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
