HEAD OFFICE INDIA / LOCAL SOURCING MANAGER

Reporting directly to the Chief Manufacturing Officer based at HQ (Spain), you will lead Kave Home's sourcing office in India, being responsible for the management of the business and the local team across all sourcing, quality and supplier development activities in the region.

Your mission will be to develop and consolidate strategic relationships with local suppliers, drive new business opportunities aligned with Kave Home's global product and sourcing strategy, and optimize the competitiveness, production capacity and operational efficiency of the region.

You will become the key link between the Manufacturing, Product, Quality and Supply Chain teams at HQ and local suppliers, actively participating in new product developments, RFQs, RFIs, sourcing strategy and continuous improvement projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing the administration of the Office aligned to the Budget requirements as well as Company Policies and Strategy.
• Develop New Business in the Region aligned to the Range and Sourcing Strategy, looking for competitive set ups in terms of Quality, Price and Service Level.
• Improve existing Business by finding alternative sources for the long term, running reverse engineering projects for high sales products or supporting Kave Home Suppliers to have better Production Control and Cost optimization.
• Manage and develop the existing Team; from Quality Inspections to Hunting new Suppliers, Developing New Business or improving existing ones.
• Optimize cost efficiency of the Whole operation, by increasing the volume share in the Region and reducing the cost of the operation to increase overall profitability.
• Secure Dedicated Capacities at Suppliers, by establishing a constant communication flow with local Partners, defining production leadtimes, security stocks for raw material and finished goods as well as monitoring and fulfilling the right delivery dates in quantity, quality and cost.
• Perform Due Diligence for new and running Suppliers with support from HQ as well as financial analysis to guarantee long term business relationships in compliance to local legislation among other Company´s standards (including our Code of Conduct or other certificates)

Requirements:

• +5 years of experience in similar positions related to international sourcing and direct supplier negotiation.
• +3 years of team management experience.
• Strong financial and business analysis background (P&L, ROI, cost breakdown, cash flow).
• Experience in industrial and manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, process control and industrial expertise.
• Experience working in multicultural and international environments.
• High level of English is mandatory.
• Spanish and Hindi are considered a plus.
