Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Unit at an Ethanol Plant, located in Bhor. Responsibilities include overseeing daily plant operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and optimizing production processes. The Head of Unit will also be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of production, implementing operational improvements, managing budgets, and leading the unit to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Operational skills in managing ethanol plant processes, production optimization, and adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
- Leadership and people management skills, including team coordination, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of resource management and cost control methods.
- Strong technical understanding of ethanol plant machinery, maintenance protocols, and engineering standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in industry-relevant software and tools for operational planning and reporting.
- Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field; prior experience in ethanol or chemical plant operations is highly beneficial.
