Job Title: Head of Travel (Sales & Operations)
Role Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and result-oriented Head of Travel to lead the overall sales, operations, and growth of our domestic and international travel business. This role requires strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and end-to-end ownership of performance, profitability, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee Sales, Operations, Contracting, and Customer Experience teams
- Define and execute business strategies for Domestic & International travel
- Drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and market expansion
- Manage key corporate accounts, vendors, airlines, DMCs, and hotel partners
- Set targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure achievement of business objectives
- Build, train, and mentor high-performing teams across functions
- Ensure compliance, service quality, and operational excellence
- Represent the travel vertical in leadership and strategic meetings
Required Skills & Experience:
- 812+ years of experience in the travel & tourism industry
- Strong expertise in International & Domestic travel operations and sales
- Proven leadership experience with large team handling
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen
- Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Profile:
- Experience in scaling travel business or launching new travel verticals
- Exposure to B2B, B2C, Corporate & MICE segments
- Strong vendor network and industry relationships
