Job Description
You will lead a 15-person team across Engineering, Analytics, and Machine Learning to drive technical strategy and execution. As the technical backbone of Portcast, you'll bridge the gap between complex data systems and business outcomes, ensuring AI models move from experimentation to production while maintaining a high bar for architectural excellence.

What You Will Do
- Own the technical direction for platform architecture, infrastructure, and product systems to ensure high reliability and scalability.
- Drive the ML/AI roadmap, moving models from research into production to deliver measurable predictive value for enterprise customers.
- Manage and mentor engineering leads and ML specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, velocity, and technical excellence.
The ideal candidate
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and data/ML leadership, preferably within a high-growth VC-backed B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong hands-on technical depth in distributed systems, real-time data pipelines, and MLOps, with experience deploying production-grade AI systems.
- First-principles thinker who excels at breaking down complex logistical problems into scalable technical solutions and clear cross-team execution.
