Job Description
- Manage and ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.
- Oversee tax planning strategies to optimise tax liabilities within legal frameworks.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for tax audits and assessments.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure implementation within the organisation.
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team on tax-related matters.
- Assist in developing and implementing tax policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present tax reports to senior management as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Taxation Lead should have:
- Professional qualifications in taxation or accountancy or law, will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of direct/indirect tax regulations in India and globally.
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
