The Opportunity

Vedanta Sports is seeking a dynamic leader to lead one of India's most ambitious sports transformation programs. From hosting marquee events like the Delhi, Pink City & Zinc City Half Marathons to launching a world-class Girls Football Academy and the Vedanta Archery Olympic Training Centre (in partnership with the Government & AAI), we are building high-impact, scalable sports ecosystems. The role includes overseeing elite teams such as the Kalinga Lancers (Hockey) and Vedanta Leopards (Padel), driving fan engagement, sponsorships, and managing a diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate will shape Vedanta's vision to position India on the global sporting map while delivering social impact, brand equity, and commercial sustainability.

The Successful Candidate

  • 8-10 years in strategic leadership roles across sports management, large-scale events, CSR, or business transformation.
  • Proven track record in building high-impact programs, government liaison, and commercial partnerships.
  • MBA or equivalent preferred; sports management background is an advantage.
  • Passion for sports, community development, and nation-building with expertise in digital transformation and data analytics.
