Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Software Engineering, based in Coimbatore. The Head of Software Engineering will oversee software development projects, manage and lead the engineering team, and define technical strategies aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities include supervising the development process, implementing enterprise architecture best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality AI solutions. The role also involves mentoring team members and driving innovation within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software Development and a strong understanding of coding practices and system design
- Experience in Team Management and Team Leadership, including mentoring and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Strong Project Management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects within deadlines
- Expertise in Enterprise Architecture and the ability to implement scalable, robust, and secure software solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven track record in managing large-scale engineering initiatives
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in AI solutions or related technologies is a strong plus
