In addition, we have clinics in Defence Colony (South Delhi), Cybercity & Subhash Chowk (Gurgaon) and at the Delhi Airports. Medanta is constantly growing its digital healthcare services, launched homecare and has also very recently entered into Retail vertical by setting up lab services (outside hospital) & Retail Pharmacy. We further plan to scale up our existing facilities, expand into few more geographical areas and also identify new avenues within Healthcare eco-system.

Job Description

1) Leadership and Management:

• and manage the hospital's security team, including recruiting, training, and supervising security personnel.
• and maintain a high-performance culture within the security team, ensuring all members are motivated and equipped to perform their duties effectively.

2) Policy Development and Implementation:

• and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of Hospital.
• compliance with all relevant local, state, regulations and standards related to hospital security.

3) Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

• regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure the safety of all hospital assets.

4) Emergency Response and Incident Management:

• and maintain an effective emergency response plan for the hospital.
• and lead responses to security incidents, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, and other critical situations.
• thorough investigations of security breaches and incidents, and prepare detailed reports for hospital management.

5) Collaboration and Communication:

• with hospital administration, clinical staff, and external agencies (e.g., law enforcement, fire departments) to ensure a coordinated approach to security and emergency response.
• clear and open communication with all hospital departments regarding security-related issues and updates.

6) Security Technology and Systems

• the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of security technology and systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• all security equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.

7) Training and Awareness:

• and implement security training programs for hospital staff to ensure they are aware of and can effectively respond to security protocols.
• a culture of security awareness throughout the hospital community.

Requirements

1) Minimum of 10 years of experience in security management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

2) Knowledge of security protocols and procedures

3) Experience in threat assessment and risk management

4) Proficiency in security technology and tools

5) Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

6) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

7) Strategic planning and implementation capability

8) Crisis management and emergency response expertise

9) Understanding of regulatory compliance and legal requirements in security
