Job Description

Designation: Head of Sales Vertical

Experience: 9-15 Years (Minimum 5 years in Team Handling and Sales Leadership; Education/EdTech/Language Training preferred)

Salary: Up to 8-12 LPA + Incentives (Based on the interview)

Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Working Days: 6 Days per Week

Role – Head of Sales

We are seeking a result-driven Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and develop a team of Sales Counsellors while driving revenue growth and achieving business targets. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership capabilities, experience in managing high-performing sales teams, and a proven track record of consistently achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Counsellors to achieve monthly revenue goals.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and ensure team target achievement.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and skill-development initiatives.
  • Drive conversion excellence through effective pipeline management and sales strategies.
  • Track team productivity, sales metrics, and collection targets.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
  • Ensure adherence to CRM processes, reporting standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to maximize lead conversion.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to management.

Qualifications

  • 9-15 years of overall sales experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing sales teams.
  • Experience in Education, EdTech, Language Training, Training & Development, BFSI, Insurance, or similar industries preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
