Role Description The Head of Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for leading and scaling the sales function for The Concrete Shop®. This role involves developing and executing the sales strategy, setting revenue targets, and managing the sales pipeline across key customer segments such as architects, designers, developers, and channel partners. The Head of Sales will oversee account management activities, including nurturing long-term relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and repeat business. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring the sales team, tracking performance metrics, conducting sales reviews, and collaborating closely with marketing, design, and operations to align offerings with market needs. The role also includes identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, representing the brand at industry events, and providing market feedback to inform product and pricing decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets in B2B or design-led product environments.
- Proficiency in Account Management, including building long-term client relationships, managing key accounts, and driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Demonstrated Team Management and leadership capabilities, including hiring, coaching, and performance management of a sales team.
- Effective Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, forecast revenue, optimize pipelines, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage architects, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Experience in building or architecture, premium design products, or construction materials is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Design, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Comfort working on-site in Ahmedabad, with readiness for client visits, site meetings, and industry networking as required.
