Role Description
Channel Ecosystem Leadership
i. To build, nurture, discipline and grow a distributor network across India.
ii. Develop and execute sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
iii. Ability to handle conflicts, escalations, and performance gaps with distributors and manage key accounts.
iv. Familiarity with onboarding dealer service teams, training them, and monitoring field feedback loops.
v. Identify new market segments, strategic partnerships, and growth opportunities.
vi. Build relationships with consultants, private and government sector clients.
vii. Manage marketing communication across various channels.
Technical–Commercial Decision Ability
i. Work with team in executing marketing plan to support product positioning and branding initiatives.
ii Oversee tendering, techno-commercial negotiations, and project sales cycles.
iii. Stay current on market trends, industry standards and competitors.
Commercial Management
i. Dealer margin structuring, target setting, and quarterly reviews
ii. Ensure margin protection, payment collections, and contract compliance.
iii. Forecast sales, prepare MIS reports, and support management decision-making
iv. Perform business reviews and provide improvements
v. Monitor and manage expenses within allotted marketing budget
Team management and well being
i. Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance in a timely manner
ii Provide leadership, coordination and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained enabling them to achieve the operational metrics within their areas of responsibility
Managing stakeholders
i. Ensure that customers are up-to-date with new products and enhancements
ii Address sales related issues and conflicts in timely manner
iii. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
iv. Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with Customer Solutions team
Alignment to Vision and Values
i. Taking personal responsibility to ensure continuous alignment with and reinforcement of Organizational Vision and Values
ii. Creating the necessary SOP for the department
iii. Orientating /Training/Coaching team on the Vision & Values
