Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The Sales Head will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets in the power distribution sector.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives in the power distribution sector.
Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential customers to expand the customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
Provide guidance, coaching, and training to the sales team to enhance their performance and skills.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, marketing materials, and product positioning strategies.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to key customers, demonstrating the value and benefits of our power distribution solutions.
Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Requirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. MBA in Sales and Marketing is a plus.
Proven track record of at least 8-10 years of successful sales experience in the power distribution sector, preferably with high tension/low tension panels.
Strong technical knowledge of power distribution systems, panels, switchgear, and related equipment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
