Position Overview

The Head of Sales will lead Nortech's domestic and international business development efforts for Ferro Molybdenum, Ferro Vanadium, and other specialty alloys.

This role demands a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of steel manufacturing supply chains, industrial sales, and relationship management at CXO and procurement head level.

The Sales Head will drive growth through strategic partnerships, key account management, tender participation, and market expansion into new geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Expansion

Identify, qualify, and close B2B opportunities in India, GCC, and Southeast Asia.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts like Jindal etc.

Explore new markets and customers in Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Europe for Ferro Alloys supply.

Sales Strategy & Planning

Define annual sales targets and pricing strategy aligned with production planning and raw material availability.

Develop tender participation frameworks and institutional client onboarding strategies.

Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and global FeMo/FeV demand cycles.

Key Account & Relationship Management

Maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers in steel plants, foundries, and alloy units.

Ensure customer satisfaction, timely deliveries, and transparent communication with production and logistics teams.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor the sales and logistics coordination team.

Oversee documentation (COA, MSDS, Test Certificates, RoHS/REACH) and ensure compliance with client procurement norms.

Reporting & Coordination

Work closely with the Director (Operations) and Plant Head to align production schedules with confirmed orders.

Present monthly MIS reports on sales performance, receivables, and market insights.

Collaborate with finance and export teams for LC, payment terms, and export documentation.

Desired Profile

Education: B.E./B.Tech (Metallurgy / Mechanical / Chemical) preferred; MBA in Marketing or International Business desirable.

Experience: 10–15 years in industrial/B2B sales (preferably Ferro Alloys, Steel Raw Materials, or Metals).

Domain Expertise:

Strong understanding of steel manufacturing process and alloy requirements.

Proven network in procurement and purchase teams of steel and foundry industries.

Experience handling both domestic and export sales.
