Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Head to lead the sales function of our contact center division. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in outbound/inbound sales, team leadership, and client acquisition across domestic and/or international markets. The ideal candidate should bring strong domain knowledge of contact center operations and deep understanding of service-based sales models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets.
- Define short-term and long-term sales objectives aligned with business goals.
- Identify emerging markets and opportunities within contact center services.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team (field and inside sales).
- Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and ensure continuous development of team capabilities.
- Motivate teams to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Build and expand the client base by identifying potential business opportunities.
- Lead proposal development, RFP/RFQ responses, and client presentations.
- Represent the company in client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction and repeat business through exceptional service delivery coordination.
- Own the P&L for the contact center sales function.
- Track and analyze sales metrics and trends to drive business decisions.
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and delivery teams to align service offerings with market needs.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback for service enhancement and innovation.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 35 years in a leadership role in a BPO/contact center setup.
- Proven success in outbound/inbound voice process sales, lead generation, or tele sales-based environments.
- Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles and client acquisition models.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to generate actionable insights from sales performance data.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with CRM and contact center software.
Preferred:
- Experience with both domestic and international BPO clients.
- Exposure to digital/AI-enabled contact center solutions.
- Willingness to travel as required for business development.
