Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Offline Sales Head to drive and scale the offline sales business across India. This role will primarily focus on Modern Trade (80%) along with General Trade (20%), and will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding distribution, and strengthening relationships with key retail partners and distributors.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the Food & Beverages sector, with proven expertise in managing modern trade accounts, distributor networks, and executing retail growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive offline sales performance across Modern Trade and General Trade channels across India.
- Manage and grow relationships with key modern trade accounts and retail partners.
- Drive revenue growth, volume expansion, and market penetration in offline channels.
- Build and manage strong distributor and stockist networks to improve market coverage.
- Lead commercial negotiations, product listings, and trade agreements with modern trade partners.
- Monitor secondary sales and distributor performance to improve sell-through.
- Track sales performance, margins, trade spends, and channel profitability.
Key Requirements
- 48 years of experience in offline sales within the Food & Beverages industry.
- Strong exposure to Modern Trade account management along with distributor management.
- Proven experience in scaling offline sales and expanding distribution networks.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and execution skills.
- Experience managing Pan-India markets or multiple regions is preferred.
- Candidates from reputed FMCG / Food & Beverage companies (strong pedigree) will be preferred.
