Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida for the position of Head of Sales & Distribution. The Head of Sales & Distribution will lead and manage the sales function, set sales targets, and develop strategies to grow market share for NEET preparation books and related products. This role includes designing and managing distribution channels, overseeing relationships with distributors, bookstores, institutions, and key partners, and ensuring product availability in target markets. The individual will monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, forecast demand, and provide regular reports to leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities also include guiding and mentoring the sales team, aligning sales activities with marketing initiatives, and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and service.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with experience developing and executing sales strategies and achieving revenue targets.
  • Proven Account Management experience, including building and maintaining long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and institutional partners.
  • Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including leading, coaching, and motivating sales teams to high performance.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights, and to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in publishing, educational products, test-prep, or related sectors is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site in Noida and travel as needed for client, channel partner, and market visits.
