Head of Retail Sales

Role Description The Head of Retail Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Erode, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the retail footprint for Ueir Organic Foods. This role involves overseeing day-to-day retail operations, setting sales targets, and developing strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention in stores. The Head of Retail Sales will lead, mentor, and motivate the retail sales team, ensuring high performance, strong customer service standards, and adherence to company policies. The role includes analyzing sales data, monitoring market trends, optimizing product placement and promotions, and collaborating with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The position also requires regular store visits, stakeholder communication, and reporting on sales performance and improvement plans to senior leadership.
Qualifications

• Strong Retail Sales and Sales expertise, with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding targets.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting sales data, market trends, and customer insights to inform strategy.
• Team Management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing diverse sales teams.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and enhancing in-store experience.
• Relevant experience in FMCG, organic foods, or retail grocery sectors is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Erode, with flexibility for extended hours or weekends as needed.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.
