Head of Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety

Role Description

Reporting to senior management. The Head of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of company-wide safety and environmental policies. Responsibilities include conducting safety audits, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, managing occupational health programs, and mitigating risks to ensure employee well-being. The role requires collaborating with key stakeholders to create a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Industry preference is Petroleum, Fabrication, Offshore, Factory Production, Industrial and Hazardous, Manufacturing, Construction etc. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai/Offshore/project sites.

Experience

Min. of 10 years upto 15 yrs in the related Industries.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety best practices and risk management frameworks.
• Expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) protocols, policies, and standards.
• Experience in managing Occupational Health programs and promoting workplace safety culture.
• Knowledge or certification in NEBOSH or equivalent safety standards.
• Strong capabilities in Auditing processes related to EHS compliance.
• Proven project management and leadership skills for large-scale operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian regulations and standards related to environmental, health, and safety practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications or degrees are advantageous.
