Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Quality Head to lead the entire quality department. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, process control, and compliance with industry norms. The role involves overseeing inspection processes, implementing quality systems, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure adherence to EN 1090 / ISO standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of all products (Truss, Frames, and Structural Components).
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation such as test reports, inspection records, calibration reports, etc.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Train and guide team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure effective coordination with production, PPC, and dispatch teams for quality-related matters.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen,7QC and Continuous Improvement initiatives in the department.
- Develop supplier quality systems, including incoming material inspection and supplier audits.
- Ensure all testing equipment and gauges are calibrated and maintained properly.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through quality improvement and process optimization.
- Prepare MIS reports and present quality performance to management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 68 years of experience in quality management (preferably in fabrication, cycle, truss, or aluminum products).
- Strong knowledge of welding quality, NDT, and dimensional inspection.
- Hands-on experience in implementing QMS / ISO / EN 1090 standards.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Quality Tools, and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional team
